They’re all about inclusivity, making space for marginalized voices, and creating fun, affirming experiences where you can feel safe and celebrated. Whether you're attending a Body Positive Block Party or a chill pool party, Chub Hub’s anti-racist and LGBTQ+ inclusive mission guarantees everyone feels welcome.
WHY WE LIKE 'EM:
You can feel it. When you hit the block party or comedy fest… it’s all legit cool and kinda gay. Chub Hub is a big fat player in Portland’s queer and body-positive scene. For many who feel left out of traditional spaces because of their size, gender identity, or orientation, Chub Hub PDX offers a home where acceptance and community are visibly prioritized. They make sure that harmful nonsense like fatphobia and discrimination are left at the door, and kindness reigns. We freakin’ love it!
